Training Camp has started for the charity bike ride taking place during April for the cricket club. Sunday brought the team together for the first time and the first training cycle. Lee Dixon, pictured above, turned up on his donkey kong bike, whilst Jeremy ‘Lance’ Jordan turned up on a new racer.

Lead Bicycler Jim Gillson said – “It was inspiration to see such a fine body of men forming what must have been the most unusually shaped, alcoholically challenged and generally unfit peloton ever to take on the streets of Cheshire. Our first road mission has been negotiated. I get the feeling tougher challenges ahead but I for one have to admit to feeling a ridiculous level of good feeling about being involved.”

An unnamed source at the local gym has reported that many of the cyclists have been attended secret personal ‘spinning’ sessions. Seamus and Warren were unavailable for comment to confirm these vicious rumors.

Further reports have come in that an ex-groundsman was spotted at a premier Chester gym this morning.

Week 2’s training introduces an enjoyable option of a ride up to The Pheasant in Buwardsley, and the not so enjoyable option of cycling to Connahs Quay.
